Bilingual Intake Specialist (English/Spanish)

Remote. Pay: Discussed at interview.

About the role

The same work as an Intake Specialist, in two languages. You take calls from English and Spanish speakers and move between the two without losing accuracy in your notes.

What you will do

  • Answer and return calls in English and in Spanish
  • Ask the firm's screening questions in the caller's language and record the answers in English
  • Explain the retainer in plain words and send it for electronic signature
  • Follow up by phone and text until the person signs or the firm closes the lead
  • Keep every call, note and outcome on the lead's record

What we ask for

  • Fluent spoken and written English and Spanish
  • At least one year in a phone-based role such as a call center, customer service or sales
  • Able to explain a legal document simply, without giving legal advice
  • Accurate typing while you listen
  • A quiet place to work, a computer, a headset and a reliable connection

Good to have

  • Experience with legal intake or personal injury
  • Experience interpreting or translating
  • A backup for power and internet

Schedule and time zone

Remote. You work the business hours of the US law firm you are placed with, so expect a US time zone (Eastern, Central, Mountain or Pacific). The exact shift is agreed with the firm before you start.

This is a contract role. You work as an independent contractor through Inquire2Esquire, on the firm’s hours.
