Receptionist / Client Services

Remote. Pay: Discussed at interview.

About the role

You answer the firm's main line. You greet every caller, find out what they need, and get them to the right person or take a message that person can act on.

What you will do

  • Answer the main line and web chat promptly and politely
  • Send new case calls to intake and existing clients to their case manager
  • Take complete messages: who, what, and the best time to call back
  • Book and confirm appointments
  • Give existing clients simple updates the firm allows
  • Keep the contact record correct

What we ask for

  • Fluent spoken and written English, with a warm, clear phone voice
  • At least one year as a receptionist or in customer service
  • Calm when several calls arrive at once
  • Accurate typing
  • A quiet place to work, a computer, a headset and a reliable connection

Good to have

  • Spanish
  • Law office or medical office experience

Schedule and time zone

Remote. You work the business hours of the US law firm you are placed with, so expect a US time zone (Eastern, Central, Mountain or Pacific). The exact shift is agreed with the firm before you start.

  • Calendar and email
  • A headset with a noise-canceling microphone

Contract

This is a contract role. You work as an independent contractor through Inquire2Esquire, on the firm’s hours.
